Dr. Christos Goumas, MD, FEBPRM
Physiatrist - Doctor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Founder & Scientific Director of Therapeia
Dr Christos Goumas was born and raised in Thessaloniki Greece. He graduated from the Medical school of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the General Hospital of Voula - Athens, “Asklepieion Voulas”. At the same time, he specialized in Physical Medicine and Children Rehabilitation in the Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children of Voula
His training on treating Spasticity-Dystonia and on ultrasound guided injections- interventions was completed at the Royal University Hospital of Liverpool.
Dr Christos Goumas is a member of the European board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation: EBPRM, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation: AAPM&R, and the International, Greek and Cypriot Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is also a regular member of the British Medical Council: BMC, and the Greek and Cypriot board of Medical Doctors.
